What's New?

For those interested in the Outdoor Circle’s lesser-known, but fascinating, historical impacts,
we invite you to view the following links on the LKOC website:

~ An informative video of LKOC’s 2007 Mokapu Road Tree Planting Ceremony:
From an opening oli (chant) to interviews with our LKOC leaders, Honolulu Mayor,
and Department of Parks and Rec Director, the video serves as an example of
how LKOC collaborates with city entities to achieve its planting project goals.

This video was created by Roxanne Darling, as part of her “Beach Walks with Rox”
YouTube video series. Click <

Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) infestation impacts us all!
CRB have already devastated palm species on the North Shore, Central Oahu, and other areas,
and are now here in Kailua and on the Windward side.

Coconut trees are foundational to Hawaii’s cultural heritage, agriculture, ecosystems and economy,
and
we need YOUR help to stop the spread.
To learn how you can help, visit our CRB Call To Action webpage.
