CRB CALL TO ACTION

Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) infestation impacts us all!
CRB have already devastated palm species on the North Shore, Central Oahu, and other areas,
and are now here in Kailua and on the Windward side.
Coconut trees are foundational to Hawaii’s cultural heritage, agriculture, ecosystems and economy,
and we need YOUR help to stop the spread!

and what we, as a community, can do to prevent their spread in Kailua.

To support ongoing learning and action, we’ve compiled the materials that were shared at the workshop. You can access handouts & resources here: bit.ly/CRB-Workshop-Kailua-materials

Donate to the Coconut Sanctuary!
Help preserve and grow healthy coconut trees by donating viable coconuts to our Coconut Sanctuary, in collaboration with WCCC (Women’s Community Correctional Center). Donated coconuts will be nurtured, protected, and planted at the facility to ensure a thriving future for niu.
How to Donate:
  • Drop-Off Option: Once you contact us (see details below), we will provide the donation drop-off location.
  • Label Your Donation: Please label your coconut with your name and date of donation before dropping them off. If you know the type of coconut, provide that information as well.
  • Pick-Up Option: If you are unable to drop-off, we may be able to arrange pick-up!
For questions or to schedule a pick-up or dropoff, email us at [email protected].

Additional Information
